YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION.
On Sunday aftornoon at the Strangers' Tea at the Young Men's Christian Associate the general secretary (Mr Hughes) gave an account of the work done by the association at the recent Territorial camp at Sutton. The leisure hours of the men were occupied by lectures, concerts, etc., every evening, and these were largely attended. The chaplains in camp, the Revs. Graham Balfour, Pybus, and Bush King, co-operated in making these functions interesting und helpful. The reading and correspondence facilities were largely made use of by tho men. Tho junior department of the association lias assumed such proportions that it has been found necessary to secure the assistant of a man who will give his attention to th's important phase of Y.M.C.A. work. Nearly 250 boys are now in the department, and every day fresh additions arc made to the number. An advertisement in this connection appears in another column.
