'■''An open verdict was returned, at. the inquest on, the body of Acheson, who -was killed in a brawl at Leichhandt-on February 18. The coroner said, he was -quite satisfied ~that gross perjury had been committed. Jt. .was a pity that people -who saw the Occurrence did not have the sense of duty to come forward in the interests of justice.

iVi Charles Acheson, of 262 Norton street, lieichhardt, was found in a condition invArthur street, Leichhaidt. on the night of.- February 18, and" died while boing ooaijvoyed to the hospital by the Civil Ambu--lance.
