COLLIERS' THREAT TO STRIKE,

LONDON, March 6. The Rhymney colliers are acting similarly to those at Rhondda, and tendering a month's notice to strike against the employment of non-unionists. This involves 53,000 men.
THE RICHARDSON CASE.
LONDON, March 7. (Received March 7, at 10.10 p.m.) The directors of the Midland Railway Company will consider Richardson's case to-day. All the newspapers urge a reballot by the raihvaymen. (Received March 7, at 9.45 p.m.) The telegraph messengers threaten to cease work on Monday unless their wages are raised to £1 5s at the end of the. year. They also demand a half-holiday weekly, the half-day for drill not being considered satisfactory. They have also formed a union. THE STRIKE IN PERTH. STREET DISTURBANCES. MEN'S DEMANDS REFUSED. One man was arrested and another taken to the hospital. The men demand a compulsory conference and that all strikers be reinstated. The masters • decline these' terms. The Labour Federation has advised a resumption of woTk.
The Cabinet has Tesolved to put in action the provisions of the Arbitration Act against strikes.
