SERIOUS ILLNESS. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. PARIS, March 6. ■ Madame Melba's son is suffering from pneumonia, and is in a critical condition. A cablo message which was sent to tho Sydney Sun last week stated that Madamo Melba was prostrated with grief over the illness of iher son George. The latter was operated upon for appendicitis early in January. Having completely recovered, ho accompanied his mbthcr to Paris, where ho devoloped pneumonia, and io now in a very 6erious condition.
