' WELLINGTON, March 7. The Hon. W. Fraser will leave Wellington for Napier on Tuesday morning and go right tlirough to Gisborne, arriving there on tho following day. He will remain in Gisborne and the vicinity for several days, leaving on Sunday evening, March 16, for Auckland. The Minister will leave Auckland for Whangarei on Monday evening, and from the. latter port will go north to Kawakawa. On March 18 lie will visit Kaikolie, on -March 19 Kohukohu, and on March 21 Kaitaia. On Friday, 21, Mr Frasejr will drive to Mongonui, and on the following day he will leave Opiia for Whang>.irei at 5 p.m. Afterwards he mil visit Dargaville and other'northern towns, finally returning south by way of Auckland and arriving at Wellingtou about the end of March. The principal object of Mr Frasejt's northern tour is to inspect the road and railway works in the East Coast and North Auckland districts, and he will receive deputations en route.

On April 10 or 12 Mr Fraser will leave Wellington on a visit to the West Coast. The round journey will take up about a week,.and while on the Coast the Minister will visit the State coal mines. The new mino at Point Elizabeth is nearing output stage, and probably it will be formally opened, by Mr Fraser about the middle of April. ■
