ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
(Per United .Press Association.) AUCKLAND, March 7. Mr William Cnrt.rn, aged 54, was greatly affected by t'.ie sudden death of' hi-3 employer, Mr W. Marson. a little over a week ago. After seeing .the dead body lie went home, became unconscious, and was removed to the hospital, where he died yesterday moriiir.fr from nervous breakdown. INVERCAItGH.L, March 7. A bov named Collins, aged 13 years, a son of Mr U. Collins, cf Ota Creek, was killed on the railway yesterday near Brydone, while trying to board a mdvinjj train. Inquiries made at tho Hospital last mght in regard to the condition of ' William Ric'.iards, a lad 15 years of age who was thrown from Mr 11. Kvle's baker's cart at Kaitangata on Thursday, showed that he wa6 progressing satisfactorily, aitd. that so far no operation for internal injuries had been nccessiry. It appears that Richards was thrown from the cart through one of t'.ie wheels going into a rut. The boy was employed at the Kaitangata mine.
