. The Rcecuo Lodge hold an "at home" in the Unity Lodge room on Tuesday evening, when Bro. R. Carmichael (Chief Templar) presided. There was a good attendance of members and friends. The chairman gave a short address on "Tho Aims and Objects of tho Order," and invited thoso who were not members to join at once. Miss E. Palmer and Miss Patterson acted as accompanists, and the following provided a splendid programme:^-Miss Palmer (pianoforte solo and song), Mr W. Cole, Miss L. Bennett, Miss Cnrline, Mr J. Patterson (songs), Mr J. B. M'Connell and Miss F. Kernahon (recitations), and Miss J, Riddell (sword dance), Mr M'Millan acted as piper. A dialogue was given by Sisters Sutton and N. and E. Bain. Messrs M'Lcan and Barnes contributed a cornet duet, and Bro. jM. Anderson provided a number of gramophone selections, Bro. Burton (from Wellington) finishiTig tho programme with a splendid imitation item. - A vote of thanks to those who bad provided such a splendid programme and the singing of "Auld lang syne " concluded tho entertainment.
