— Before giving his oonsent to the Great Western Railway to build a railway bridge across a part of his property,, a landowner stipulated that it Bhould be constructed of stone which should match that of which his house was built, arid should consist of three elliptical arolica. The bridge, which waa successfully completed, despite tho difficulty of construction, is the i onlv ono of its kind in England—perhaps in the world.
