— Messrs Williams and Norgato state that the first prize of £25 in their sccond "Home University Library 1 ' Essay Competition has been awarded to Robert Coope, aged 19, modioal student, Liverpool, for an essay on the ten volumes of the Library issued last April. The second prize of £5 goes to P. 11. Shaw-Stewart, aged 24, clork, Piccadilly, for Jin essay on Lord Hugh Ccoil's "Conservatism." Twenty-four, instead of ten, nwetf of books were also awarded.
