LANDING AREAS DEFINED. REGULATIONS FOR AVIATORS. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, Maroh 5. (Received March 5, at 11.15 p.m.) The Home Office has defined, eight landing areas for airships, including Brighton, Margate, and the Wash. It, does not allow air craft to carry guns.
It requires two days' notice to a consul sad 18 hours to the Home Office Before the arrival of an airship. Permits to continue voyages over Britain "will cost £4 for an airship and £1 for an aeroplane.
The Homo Office prescribes smoke, shell, and red rockets as signals of warning to aviators in prohibited territory, and unless they descend they may be fired upon. They will be liable to six months' imprisonment. A fine of £200 and a. sentence of seven years' imprisonment is provided for aviators who engage in espionage.
