The latter, who was unaware that the pea rifle was loaded, pulled the trigger, and the bullet entered the centre of Watson's tliroat, but was sueccififully extracted. The patient is very little the worse for the misadventure. He was rananded till Friday. Bail was allowed—himself £100, and one surety of £200. BLENHEIM, November 9. In the Supreme Court to-day in divorce a judicial separation was granted Tc Niko Mauritu Mac Donald from Tuiti Mac Donald, a wife's petition on the ground of misconduct. GOIIE, November 9. John Otto Bankin was arrested at Gore yesterday by Constable Schroder for failing to maintain his wife. Fie was brought before the court, this morning and remanded till Monday.
