Tho work for tho ovening included general Scout craft. The troop is fortunato in having the services of Soout Wyiin, of tho Pioneer Troop. The Roslyn and .Maori Ilill Troops woto never more activo than at present. Tho troops aro busy preparing for first-aid passes' and general work. All tho troo|» aro to meet next week for a special parade. The Anderson's Bay Troop is holding a oliureh parade at tho local Anglican ClmrcJi on Sunday. Tlie Excelsior Troop of Boy Srouts is to liold its first annual concert at an early date. Tho troop is busy making preparation,s, and, judging by the programme, a goixi night's enjoyment should result. The North-East Valley Troop mot in tho Kcw C'hurjh Hall on Tuesday ovenijig, when Chief Scoutmaster Christian put several Scouts through work for their lirst class tests, while tho remainder of tho boys were busy doing general Scout work. Tho following commissions as Scoutmasters have arrived, and will bo presented bv District Commander .Tones to Messrs North, Gibb, end Cole; seaman instructor, Mr F. Cole. The annual church parade is to bo held on Sunday, November 21 at Knox Church. Commissioner Simile has notified tho officers commanding companies of pitrol levies.
