At. no time had he ever struck tho woman. Other evidence given showed that the woman was seen alive after 7' p.m. on Friday. Constable Tlutmpsou stated Hut tlio twin in which the Ikhlv was found resembled a pigstyv. The bedclothes wero lilthv. The inquest was then adjourned until Monday, when the evidence of Dr Fyife, who held a post mortem, will be given.
