"oseviur (president of the Otago Centre) also delivered a few remarks, congratulating the club on its success during the season, mid wishing members an even more sucves>(id season mxt year. Mr Rcwovear also utailo reference to the club's active assistunco to tho centre by its teprosentatioii in the open events, special mention being made of the performances of Messrs Perkins and Sninnoy, who hail won the doubles at tho mooting on September M.

Nicol 3; Sealed Handicap—Hunter 1, Hond 2; One-mile—J. Nicol 1, R. Swinney 2: first novice in Inter-club Kace—Oaffancy. Open events: Otago Centre— Perkins (first in the ICO yards mid 220 yards ami wcond in the 440 vaids), Robert Swinucv (first in the BSO yards and in the 4(0 yards), (5. Austin Isiyoiul in the 100 ruds), .T. (ialfancy (fevoml in the Threemile!. Radges were won by 13 members of the club.
