CALL NOT ANYTHING UNCLEAN.
TO THE EDITOR. Sill.—-Those, who hud the privilege of hearing tho Rev. M.r WatU-IJilclifiold's addio.-<> to men in the Art Gallery, must havo felt thankful for having sncfi men in our church, but I was rattier surprised to see the Primate, the Dean, and others takiii-r part in the proceedings after the manner in which they treated the Rev. R. 15, 8. Hammond on Ins last visit here. If Ihcro is a man capable of stirring up and organising such a movement as the C.K.M.S. wo need go no further than Sydney. If our Primate and the Dean had attended Mr Hammond's address in St. Paul's Cathedral to men, I feel suro they would have heard sometime to their advantagei but instead of this tliey gave him the cold shoulder.
What we want in our dear old Church is more of the third class passengers—to whom Mr Watts-Ditchficld referred—among our clergy. There is a largo field open for missionary work in our Church, but if we slone the Prophets, what is to Ix-como of us.—l am, etc., A. Chgrchsian.
