At the inquest on the victims of the Lilyfield tragedy a verdict was returned that .Johnson shot Morgan and then committed suic.idc.
Mrs Johii6on gave evidence that- she left her husband because he gambled and ill-treated Iter. He had frequently threatened to kill her.

Mrs Johnson was seriously injured mill a bullet in her right hand, anil also had injuries on her head.
