NEW YORK, August 11. Mr Walter Edwards, on a 60 horsepowei aeroplane, established the first aerial mail in the North-west. He made a seven-miles' flight, and carried 1500 parcels of mail mittcr, in 10 minutes. FLIGHTS IN ENGLAND. LONDON, August 11. Mr Grahamc White Hew with tin Duchess of Westminster in a waterplane over Cowes. Among the official results of the speed trials at Aldcrshot the Lanriot monoplane Dew 74.6 miles in an hour, the Deperdussin 69,1, and a lllcriot monoplane 61.1.
