The Aparima arrived at Calcutta on Tuesday, and sails from thoro about the end of this month for Now Zealand ports. The Karori is to leave Sydney next week with cargo for' Buff, Duncdin,'and Timaru. The Clan Ogilvy, 2MI tons, has been chartered to load jarrah at Bunbury for New Zoiland ports. .Tho Pakeha will proceed lo Port Chalmers to-day to discharge eornc railway material, and will probably sail- on Suwlay for Lyttelton, where she will complete tho discharge of her London cargo. Mes?re Swift .and Co. havo received advices stating thai the Star of Australia left New York on October 15 for Now /Zealand ports, via Melbourno and Sydney, and is duo at Auckland about December 20. The Ayrshiro arrived yesterday morning from Lyttelton, and was berthed at tho Victoria wharf, whoro she will complete tho discharge of her Liverpool cargo. The Mokoia arrived yesterday afternoon from Auckland, via the usual East Coast ports, and wa.3 berthed at tho cross wharf about 2 o'clock. She will eail this afternoon on tho return trip to Auckland, via way ports. - , Tho Kittawa will complete her surrey and overhaul at Port Chalmers to-day, and iter crew will sign on this afternoon. Captain Pennington, who has been standing by the ship, will resume coimnand of tho Kittawa. which will como up to town to-mor-row morning to load for Greymouth. The harbours at Westport and Greymouth wore Hill unworkable yf6terdav morning, and over a dozen eoartal vessels were unable to -work tho ports, but a chanco for the better was expected last night. Mossrs E. D. Pike and Co., of Sydney, havo purchased the well-known Auckland sooiy Tramp. Tho latter will load a cargo
of timber at Auckland for Bydney, and on 1 arrival there she will be employed in tho Australian coastal trade. The Wimmcra is, duo hero on Sunday from Sydney, via Auckland and East Coast l>orts. Whilst in Sydney this trip sho was equipped with a wireless telegraph outfit, the latter being in charge of Air J. F. Gain, of Auckland.
