In accordance with the special act of Parliament passed lost session, Captain Altwood, master pf the wrecked HutwartParker steamer Eliogamite, will ehortly have an opportunity of appealing against the decision of tho marine inquiry given in 1903. The ground of appeal i« mainly th« fact that it has been since prayed by Admiralty surveys that the position-of tho Three Kings, on which tho Eilngamite struck, is wrongly shown on the chart. As it is impossible to reopen the inquiry with tho original assessors, one, of them, Captain Wnddilove, V.C., I hav-' ing been drowned in the Duco, thfl Minister of Marino has referred the matter, to tho Supreme Court for hearing. This was communicated to-day to the registrar, and a fixture will in due course be made on an application by Mr Willord and Mr Levy, Captain Attwood's counsel. The court will be composed of a judge and two nautical assessor.', to ba appointed by the Minister of Marine.
