Tlie executive of the Dunedin Centre met on Monday evening in the secretary's .office, Jtattray street; present—Mearrs C. H. Smith (in tho chair), Nicolson, Abbott, Scott, Armstrong, Evans, and Hogg. On tho motion of the chairman the draft programmo as printed was adopted. A letter wm received from tho secretary of tho Balmaoewon Club in refcronco to tho action of the Caledonian Club in " calling of" their matoh with tho Balmacewen Chib last Saturday. Mr Scott moved that tho Caledonian Club bo written to for an explanation.—Carried. It was stated tliat tho Auckland bowlcna would arrive here on the 18th January, and the arranging of games was held over for a future meeting. Mr Scott askod for the ocntro's ruliirg oi' tho unfinished games last Saturday. After some discussion it was decided on tho motion of Mr Nioolflon, seconded by IMr Armstrong, "That in all inter-club ' comes tho full number of 21 heads must do played. With regard to the snuff mull competition Mr Smith moved, that tho matchcs to decide the winning club be played on the 2nd and 13th December and 3rd February. Tho motion was eccondod by Mr Nioolson, and carriod. A draw took place and the Dunedin were drawn to play Taieri at Green Island on Dcccmbcr >2 and also to plav Kahuna cn December 13 on a green to \>e arranged; Kaituna to meet Taieri at Green Island on February 3. The committee further. resolved with regard to this competition that members of the teams must not play on the greens choson ono week prior to the dates on which the games are to bo played. TOCIUIAMENT COMMITTEE. Subsequently a meeting of tlw Tournament Committee) wis held, consisting of tho members of tho executive of the cent.ro present at tho previous meeting and Mews Greens lade, Walker. Simon, Young, Hancock, Allnutt, and Marlow. Tho Chairman stated that it was decided to increase the entry foes for tho rinks and tho doubles at the forthcoming tournament from Sa to 6s for each player, and it was also decided to alter the days of play to tho followingßinks, Wednesday and Thursday;, doubles, Friday, and Saturday j singles, Monday; and then the finals.

With regard to sociitl arrangements it was decided to use tho secretary's office as a rendezvous, where players would meet ono another and obtain any information Tho following Social Committeo wcro appointed Messrs Hogg (convener), Dempster, A. P.' Brown, Wm. Begg,'Hancock, Balk, Short, Ewing, Lindsay. It was agreed on tne motion of Mr Scott seconded bv Mr Greenslade, that a snioko concert be tendered the visiting bowlers on December 30 in a hall to bo arranged later.
