MEETINGS.
The fortnightly meeting of the Primrose Juvi;nil'j Tent, i.0.11., was held, its usual, in Lower Buj-ns Hall lust evening, when C.R. Bro. \V. V. Gain presided over a largo attendance A committee wu.i formed to combine with the committee of the ilopo of the Vulloy Juveniles to innku arrange- ( monts for a series of conccrts. After the usual business was dispensed with, a competition was held in the form of a rong evening, the winner to be presented witlr tha prize at the next tent meeting. Tho Sobriety nml l'ort Tents attended officially, and were given a cordial welcome by the tent. Bro. and riis. M'Qucoii rispondwl on behalf of tho respective tents. liro. Keyrs, ot tho Levin I'cnt, was also welcomed, arid hiiitablv responded. Bros. A. V. (iuin, C.K., and \V. I'. Birchall, J'.C-.U., reported oi; the v.ork done by the Progressive Com miitee. Two candidates were promised. An invitation ).o attend the Alliance Good Templar Lodge on Wednesday week was accepted. After the tKsiial business wat dispensed vith, refreshments wcro pawed round, and itoins rendered by Sis. Tregear (pi.'inoforto solo), Sis. Tiiy (song), Sisteis Kiiig and Tregear (d«ot), Bro. Birchall (reciliition). selections from a durelphono provided by Bro. A. V. Gain. Tho tiaiil fortnightly meeting cf the Sobrj.ity Tent (Norih»Ko.-,t Valley) was held _on Monday evening. In C.U. Bro, Ainslie's absence, tho chair was occupied by Bro. Johnston, who presided over a fair attendance of members, Ono caixlidato was initiated and one member wai transferred from the Juvenile Tent into the adult terit. After thn btwiruvs of the tent had "noil transacted, n programme of sacrod lmnie wai gone through, und, on the motion of Bro. Mitchell, n vote rf thanks was acenrded to all wlro had contributed to the programme.
