The following reports will be submitted ct to-day'e meeting of tho Drainage Board:— Tho Works Committee leports that tenders, closing, at 4 pan. on luseday, July 4, have been invited for contract No. 45d drain-ih-oommen, Carnarvon street and District rood.. Morningtoiu Tho tondor of Mr Stevenson for the supply and delivery of broken metal for cue ytar at schedule rates for area , A has been accepted, and for areas B and C G. Colder's tender has been aooepted. An exemption lias been granted during tho pleasure- of the board in respect of sanitary fittings at His Majesty's Theatre. Works in Progress.— Day labour-North-East Valley main sewer reticulation—632ft of 9in sewer, 4 manholes, 1 lamphole; total scwera laid, 1943 ft of Isin, 10,013 ft of 9in, 316 ft of 6in. Sewers east of railway station—3l2ft of 12m cast-iron sewor,- i manholes; total eewers laid, 1562 ft of 12in, 3743 ft of 9in. Bay View road sewer and reticultaipn: Main sewer—2loft of 3ft sewer, 4 manholes completed; reticulation 680 ft of 9in sewer, 2 manholes. Moray place (southeast) to Princes-street, .78ft of 9in sewer; total sewers laid, 435 ft of 9in. Extension Stuart street—3Cft of 6in Eewer, 1 lamphole j. contract completed. Completion Maori Hill (via Newmgton), 193 ft of 6in sower: Relaying 12in storm-water sewer, Queen's drive, St. Kilda—s62ft of 12in sewer, 2 manholes. Covering well and fixing electric centrifugal pump at pumping station; excavating for new vnimp chambers. Contracts—Anderson's Bay road etown-water sewrr (MaitJaJid and Butters) —52ft of 12in sewer, 1 manhole; total sewers laid, 24ft of 3in, 314 ft of 12in. Queen's drive, Cattle Market Reserve (D. M'lntyre) —200 ft of 6in sewer, 2 manholes, 1 lamphole; total sewers laid, 300 ft of 6in; contract completed. Glen reticulation, Morninjfton (E. C. Holmes)—2lsft of 9in-sewer, 1163 ft of 6in sewer, 2 manholes, 1 lampbole; total sewers laid, 215 ft of 9in, 1475 ft of 6in. The Finance Committee reports that acoounts amounting to £3128 7s 7d have been passed for payment, Accounts amounting to £5991 4s 10d were examined, passed for payment, and , cheques signed. This sum includes £5787 7s 6d, balance of half-yearly debenture interest on £300,000, due- July 1, 1911. Since the last meeting of tho committee rho sum of £139 Is 7d has: been paid into the credit of tie board's aggregate fund. Pass books were laid on the table showing credits: Aggregate fund, £620 13s; trust account, £325 19s.
