At Buckingham Palace the lung presented tho colonial troops with a Coronation medal in the presence of Sir G. H. Rcid, Sir W. Hall-Jones, and the Agents-general. The recipients included the Australian visiting oHicers who took part in the Coronation. No medals were presented to the cadets, because they were not representative. All the members of the oversea. Parliaments and their wives were presented to the King and Queen, who shook hands with each. The Kind's entertainment to 100,000 children at the Crystal Palace was a great success. The weather was fairly iine. Tho King and Queen and Prince of Wales and Princes.? Mary motored to tho Palace in the afternoon, when the King inspected the Australian cadets, who acted as the guard of honour. July 1. (Received July 2, at 5.5 p.m.) The King spent £30,C00 on the children's fetj. The organisation was remarkable., Ninety-six trains ran from 56 stations, and 10C0 children were entrained every eight minutes. The whole were divided into nine factions, each being identifiable by special coloured caps and scarves. Every side show was free. Ten thousand children saw Wild Australia, 24,000 the All-Red route, 50,000 the Marque Imperial, and 30,000 the Pavilion. The King, in the course of a message, declared that he and the Queen would ever remember the great- gathering of children' at the Crystal Palace, Ho feels that London may well fee proud of her children. Their eagerness to cany out instructions and to uphold the credit of the schools, with marvellous self-restraint, angers well for their own and the country's future.
