EXEMPTIONS IN PORTUGAL. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LISBON, June 30. Recently the foreign Legations recommended their respective Governments to withhold rcognition of tho Republic until foreign churclws had been exempted irom the operation of the new law. As a result of this action the Government has granted the exemption asked.
