(Received July 2, at 1.10 a.m.) At the Kmpiro championships at tho Crystal Palace tho Ten-milo Cycling Race was won by Kingsbury (United Kingdom) by two lengths. Time, 25min 35 4-ssec. Denny (United Kingdom) was second, a length ami a-half ahead of Sdieidcr (New South Wales). Major Taylor was sixth. In the 100 Yards Intcr-Emniro Swimming Race, Hardivick (Now South Wales) was first, Derbyshire, second, and Johnson (Canada) third. Time, lmin 0 3-ssec. The Mile Race was won In- Hodgson (Canada) by 30yds, with Battersby (United Kingdom) second. Champion (New Zealand) !«1 for 11 laps, but then tired. His log troubled: him. Time, 25:nm 27 3-Eecc. In the NX) Yards Invitation Race, Innocent (London), who had 9sec start, was first by a touch. Findlay (4?ec) finished second. Tartaiovcr, (sscc) was third, Woodslaml (Usee) fourth, and Ilaskins (ssce)- fifth Time, lmin 13 l-ssec.
