A GENEROUS GIFT. IPER UmTI'II PIIKAO I CHRLSTCHURCH. June 30. Dr Hurrifs, promoter of the Sheffield Choir, replying to the Mayor's request that the choir should give the proceeds of a matinee performance to the local Coronation Memorial Fund, states that he will give one-half of the entire receipts of the Coronation Empiro concert, to bo given by tile choir here on Wednesday next.
