The woathcr was dccided'ly better than it was on tho previous day, although it was •still cold and threatening, The sum of £9585 was put through the totalisator, as against £603b for tho second day last year, making £19,064 for tho mooting, or £6998 more than in 1910. Results: — • BROOKLANDS HACK HANDICAP. Six furlongs.—Moutoa Girl, 9.10 (C. Price), 1; Golden Age, 9.1 (F. Coloman), 2; Loch Maben, 9.0 (L. Wilson) 3. Also started: Peroeler, Amaru, Branstield, Esmeh, Southeast. Won easily by a clear length. Time, limn 25 4-ssec. WAIOIIIKI HACK HURDLES. Ono mile and a-half.—Donzel, 9.6 (D. Rosegrovo lost his rider and Lingerer came down, but both horses wcro remounted.
