In the Assembly the Minister of Labour (Mr Rosby) said that owing to the shortage of school teachers he would endeavour to bring 50 from England. (Received June 29, at 9.40 p.m.) Mr Bceby, in replying to questions in the Assembly regarding the shortage of public school teachers, said it was proposed to import SO English teachers to meet the immediate demands and to make the service more attractive, so as to secure a properly qualified staff.
