The rAails from the New Hebrides report that matters continue in a very unsatisfactory and disturbed state. Tho authorities were unable to capture the two insurrectionary chiefs, and the lives of Europeans in North-east Santo arc in danger. At North Santo a tidal wave swept away 12 houses and smashed the mission motor launch.
