BOARD DETERMINED TO RAISE £5000.

It has been decided by the management to closc- the fund to-day week, by which time it js confidently expected that, the desired £SQCO will haTO been, obtained.

A gratifying feature in connection with tho performance is t.hat the hands engaged in the front of the house havo generously donated part of their salaries to the fund, and it is stated that tho stage hands also intend to similarly contribute. The tickets for the performance* to bt* given at tho Art Gallery on Wednesday inght by the nurses and" students at tho Hospital arc meeting with a ready sale'. A oonoert and an original play will be presented, and tho students will provide their own orchestra.
