BOWLING.

The Dunedi.n Club sent three rinks to try conclusions against Lawrence and Milton last Wednesday and Thursday. The weather was all that oould be desired:, and tho greens very good for the lateness of the season, particularly at Lawrence—in fact., tho opinions exprased were that tho latter was equal to any in Dunedin. The play in some instances was very ©ocd, and most enjoyable, Tho hospitality was fully appreciated* no nains being spired to entertain tiho visitors right from the moment tlioy arrived, and though tho scores in each instance wero in favour of tho home teams, tih.> visitors took it in good part. Lawrence wero victorious by 4 points, and Milton by 8.
