A HEAVY PENALTY.

SYDNEY, March 29. (Received March 29, at 9 p.m.) The High Court has'fixed the penalties payable by Turner in the Customs fraud cases at £5120.
As Turner failed to find security' for the- paypmt of the money .or to find bail, the court ordered his committal to gaol until tho penalties are .paid.
