Colonel (temporary colonel) Edward Walter Clervaux Chaytor. officer commanding the Wellington military district. Lieut.-colonel (temporary.colonel) John Edward Hawkins, V.D., officer commanding the Canterbury military district. Lieut.-colonel (temporary colonel) Vere St. Aunkm Smyth, officer commanding the 0t?..;o military district.
