OTTAWA, March 23. (Received March 23, at 11.10 p.m.)

Mr Clifford Sifton, while driving in an anti-reciprocity demonstration at Montreal, was attacked by the M'Gill College students, and his carriage was overturned and burned. Mr Sifton was uninjuied, but he was compelled to walk the remainder of the journey. Tho police have made many arrests. The di6tuTbanoo is not regarded as a political one.
