CAVERSHAM HARRIERS.

.The sixth annual general meetiag of the Cavershiam Harrier Club last evening was .presided.over by Mr L Sanderson, one of the viee-preeidcnte. An apology for un- , avoidable abwnoe was received from Mr I. K. Sidey, M.P., president. Messrs J. Brown and C. Fryc, vice-presidents, woro also present, and there was a large attendance of members and intending members. The Chairman, in moving the adoption of the report and balance shcot, congratulated tho olub on its successful season, and on the position it,had attained. By winning the cross-country championship nag thb club had achieved tho goal it aimed at. In open races, tod, its members had won high places. Ho urged tho members to bo loyal to themselves and to their club. '

In seconding , the motion Mr J. Brown added l his congratulations to those of the chairman, and after Mr 0. IVyc had spoken the motion was put and carried unanimously.

Sundry -alterations were made in the ruke, and it was agreed that prior to getting them printed and supplied to members they be revised by tho General Committee, and any alterations deeped necessary reported , to a special meeting. Office-bearers were elected as follow:— President, Mr T. K. Sidey; vico-ptesidrais —MoEsrs L. Sanderson, J. Wilson, J. Brown, and C. Frye; captain, Mr J. Beatson; deputy captain, Mr 11. Denford; general committee—Messrs G. M'Knight, l it. List, A. Mercer, 0. Frye, E. Calverley, and A. Lo-wis; lion, auditors—Mossre G. Davidson and F. Frew; delegate to Otago centre, Mir J. Lt'st; hon. hiandicapperand sole selector, Mr A. Mercer; hon. treasurer, Mr B. Wpstwood; hon. scoretoy; Mr 6, Chambers. Nline new members were elected.
