OTAGO TENNIS ASSOCIATION.
A meeting of the Otago Lawn Tennis Association was hold last night, Mr R. S; ■Black presiding. * It was resolved that the trophy presented by Messrs G. and T. Young bo held for tha year by tho winnere of the; Championship Doubles at the Easter tournament A report was received from ' the Subcommittee set up to look after tho fencing, etc., at the association's courts at Anderson's Bay. The report stated that the trees had been trimmed, and that alternative estimates for iron and wood: fences had been obtained. It was found that.the cost of iron was prohibitive, and the engineer 'had therefore been instructed to have the fences erected in wood and wire netting. It was resolved that a separate account be opened at the National Bank, to be styled the Otago Lawn Tennis Association's interest and 'redemption account, and that all loan money bo paid into this new account, and if any balance remain oven? after paying interest charges such balanco shaJl be dealt with by tho association as it thinks fit.,
Mr R. Bauchop was appointed manager and captain of the Otago representative; team to piay Southland on the 25th inst.
