MELBOURNE, March 21. Peter Tarawa has commenced a new action against tho Howard Smiths, claiming £25,000 damages for false imprisonment in connection, with the sale of the steamer Peregrine during the RussoJapanese war, In a former action .Tarawa obtained a verdict of £5000 damages, but on appeal the decision was upset.
