ST. JOHN AMBULANCE BRIGADE.

-NURSING DIVISION.

_ The Dunedin Nursing Division held its sixteenth annual meeting on Monday evening at headquarters, Savings Bank Buildings, when a large number were present During the year one parade and 13 practices were held. Twelve, members left during the year and 17 entered, leaving a lOtal of 32. Thirty-six presented themselves for re-examination, of whom 22 passed for thebar and 12 for medallions. This examination was conducted by Dr H. E. Williams, lion, surgeon. Tho annual inspection was conducted by Mr Bone (District Chief .Superintendent of tho Brigade), and 36 members were presented with medallions The thanks of the corps were- tendered to Dr Burnett and Dr Williams for their usual instructive lectures. A (earn of eight represented the division at the annual meeting of the Ambulance Association.

A competition for the lady'siipsrinten[■ent'fi gold medal was won by the second division, under Miss Andrew, second officer. Members attended 32 first aid and 27 nursing eases. Several helped at the winter classes.

The fijianccs of tlie division show a credit balance. A great many helwd with the Hospital Saturday colled ion. Thanks are due to the St. John Ambiilanco Association for the free use of tho room.
