HOSPITAL SATURDAY ASSOCIATION.

Mr G. C. Israel presided over a meeting of the committee of the Hospital Saturday Association Jield yesterday evening, thero being also present Mrs \Y. A. Moore, Miss Hooper, 'Messrs W r . A. Moore, J. C. M'Gocrge,. ]?. C-i. Cumming, W. L. Logic,' R, Martin, J. E. Bone, D. H. Hastings, Dγ Will, ami the Rev. V. G. Bryan King.

The Treasurer. reported tint the total receipts for the Hospital Saturday colleotion amounted to £1373 2s 7d, and it was decided to allocate tlic money as follows:— Dunedin Hospital, £625; St. John Ambulance Association, £225: Karita.no Home, £175; Victoria Jubilee Convalescent League, £65; Patients and Prisoners' Aid Society., £75; and Dental Hospital, £S. The committee expressed its great indebtedness to the country workers for the splendid work carried out by them, especially those ■who collected in scattered dntricts; and, a vote of thanks ras passed to the president of the association for tho mannor in which _ho had 03nducted the affairs of the association during the year. A cheque for the amount allocated to tho Dental Hospital was handed , to Mr dimming, who, with Mr Logie and the Rev. V. G. 35. King, will supervise iho expenditure of the money. ■ Accounts amounting to £23 9s Id were passed for payment.
