(Received Feb. 9, at 8.20 p.m.) At- a meeting of the various brandies of tTie postal and telegraph fcrvioa it ■was resolved to ask the associations in tho other States to fix April 10 for the Postmaster-general to give -a definite decision before drastic action is taken with a view to retrieving the men's grievances. The Westraliari employees have resolved to support tho act-ion taken in Adelaide.' BRISBANE, February 9. (Received Feb 9, at 8.20 p.m.) There is .simmering discontent in the postal and telegraph service, and som-o talk of a strike. MINISTERIAL STATEMENT. MELBOURNE, February 9. Mr Fisher announces that the Pcst-master-gcneral is willing to listen to the complaints of departmental employees, and h-a will givo them the opportunity to make a statement.
