ESTIMATED YIELDS.

(Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, January 27. The following are iho ftgricuttliral statistics just issued by tho Department of Agriculture, giving the estimated yield of field crops up to December 31, 1910 Gbain (Bushels p«r Acre).

' The Hon. Mr Mackenzie, Minister of Agriculture, explained to a reporter that owing to certain circumstances, which perhaps could not be further alluded to, the Canterbury estimates bad of necessity to be based upon those of last year. It was heped, however, to get out a fresh estimate at a later date.
