(Received Jan. 4, at 10.53 p.m.) Acting on instructions from headquarters, the police at Coonamble compelled the soft-drink shops to ahut on Sunday. In the city since the Chief Secretary's minute the shops have been doing a big business on Sundays, and there has been no police interference.
