CHRISTCHURCH, January 4. As an. outcome of the address given by Mr Peter Bowling here on Sunday night lust a meeting of workers was held tonight to discuss the desirableness of Mr Bowling's services being retained to organise tho Labour party of the Dominion and to heal the breach existing in tho ranks' of the local labourites. About 70 or 80 were present, and after a long discussion it was resolved , that" the meeting should invite the New , Zealand Federation of Labour to α-etain the services of Mr Peter Bowling for a further term of eight weeks, and pledge itself to support it to the best of its ability, both financially and otherwise, to organise on the lines o£ his address on Sunday evening.
