MEN'S MISSION HOUSE.
.. b Tho monthly meeting of the Management, I Committee of the Men's Mission House was' : held last evening, when the following mem- ■ hers were present: —Row V. (i. Bryan King (chairman), Rev. Hoani Pariita, Messrs A. Washer, J. Foreman, A. G. . 'HoklerriMS, C. R,. Allan, G..W. Grig.-, •T. M'Laren, and G. E. Moreton (hon. secretary). The Chaplain reported that 68 oases of distress had been brought under his notice .during the' mont.li. rhiefly men, ' and tlie accommodation of the mission had le?:i taxed to the utmost. A .number o! destitute men. had been provided with beds .and meals,, aiivl also clothing, etc., and the cliaplain desires to thank uumcious friends for Wilding clothing, etc. Such donations are always- thankfully received. Every Sunday evening mission services are conducted in the Mission House at 8.15. and fe members of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew have 'carried en this hraach of work with faithfulness. During_ the month a very successful lantarn service was iheld outside by Mr C. J. Bush King assisted bj the chaplain.
