W« have opened a new office in Auckland" and I intend to visit that. Tile Zealandia'which was to havo como into the New Zealand-Sydney trade, will remain on the Vancouver line for the present. , It is suggested in local shipping circles that the company's new steamer Zealandia may, for some reason, drop out of tho 1 Vancouver trade, and in that event her services will be set free to engage in the Sydney-Cook Strait running now being performed by the Ulimaroa, Tho Ulimaroa,- it is stated, may then taker up the running of the Victoria, and, with the Wimmera, she' will conouot the AucklandSydney passenger and cargo 'trade. The Victoria, thus set free, it is said, will remain in tho Dominion and engago' in the East Coast trade from Auckland to Bluff. Nothing, official has been announced in regard .to the possible developments above outlined, but' it is understood that the company, in view of the possibility of tho Zealandia being get free from ,her present cunning,' has under consideration eomo changes in tho running of its boats in New Zealand waters.
