(Received August 31, at 9 p.m.) A fuller version of the Kaiser's speech at Marienburg shows that ho remarked on the cross on the Teutonic knight's cloak, which implied subordination to the will of Heaven. "Similarly," he added, "just as my grandfather and I represented ourselves as working under the highest mandate, we assume that it will be the case with every honest Christian whoever he be." The Kaiser concluded his speoch with a summons to unity for the common welfare.
