The Atlantic shipments woro 58,000, and the total supplies as follows:— From Europe, 2,655,000 quarters; Argontins,- 115,000 quarters; Russia, 620,000 quarters; Danubian Provinces, 521,000 quarters; India, 143,000 quarters; and Australasia, 42,000 quarters.

Paroois that have been despatched by direct steamer or aro waiting shipment are selling at 31s (xl to 32s 6d, c.i.f., for fair average quality, though inferior wheat is probably not worth more than 29s to 30s. Fon fag- wheat 33s is now being aoked, and this figure is required to'leave a small margin of profit upon wheat, that lias cost 3s 2d at country stations. Though the Home ma.rkot is reported as quiet, thero is evidently a hotter disposition to purchase. Ono reason suggiestod is that tlio cholera in Russia isl interfering with tlia harvesting of the crop there, and may also close the Black Sea ports, if that has not already taken place. There is a fair inquiry locally for wheat for shipment, but on prices obtained in London no advance on current rates is being mado by buyers. A number of small lots of wheat, principally Tuscan, havo been bought at 3s to 3s 3d, according to auality and distance from port Among the lots wcro 450 sacks of gcod Tuscan at 3s Id, at a. distant station, and 1700 bushels of Hunters at 3s 2d at a nearer station. There is'some inquiry from Loudon for oats, but practically none are offering hors. Tlio market for potatoes has awakened, consequent upon the arrival of Victorian potatoes! in Auckland and Wellington. At tlio latter place they. are reported to be selling at £7' per ton. Looal buyers are now offering. £b 10s at country stations, A brisk trade is being' done in all kinds of agricultural seeds.

Tito Otago Farmers Co-opejative Asso-ciation-o( New Zealand (Ltd.) reports as follows:—We held our weekly sale of rabbitskins on Monday, when we offered a fairly largo catalogue to a representative gathering of buyers. Prime winter skins aro becoming scarcer. The bulk of the oll'ering comprised spotty and off-season skins, but_ for all classes there was a brisksale, particularly for primo winters. For prime docs wo obtained iip to 45Jd. The following are actual prices obtained by us; Winter does—Prime, 40d to 45Jd; seconds, 30(1 to 35d; outgoing, 16d to 23d. Winter bucks-Prime, 21(1 to 25d: ssconds, 19(1 to 21d: outgoing, 14d to 16d; black, to 34d; fawn, to 15d. Horsehair, to 19d. The National Mortgage and Agency Company reports having hald its weekly sale of inbbitskins on Monday before it full attendance of buyers, and bidding was particularly keen.
