Ho said that it was pleasing to nolo that this was the coming of ago of Iho club—this being tho twentyfirst annual meeting ho hud been able to over. Tho balance sheet showed the satisfactory profit of £52 for tho year. Though they had 70 members there was still room for more, and the plant was still ablo to accommodate them. In tho balance sheet ho noticed that £30 had been spent for sculls, utul ho thought members should pay more .attention to this and minimise these breakages. 110 believed they had put up a record during the year ill one way—they had never touched money at a regatta! 110 thought this was tho jirst time this had happened, and hoped it would not bo tho cabo in t-ho coming season. They were about to got a new coach over, and, without saying anything in tho least detrimental to tho past holders of the office, ho thought the introduction of now blood would be beneficial. In the social life the club 'had l)ecn successful, and though their rowing success was not groat, a pleasant year had been spent. With consistent training this year on tho part of tho young members their old position might be regained. Their ball had been very successful and had yielded about £28. 110 luad much pleasure in moving tho adoption of the l'oport and balance sheet. Tho balance slicet showed a total income for tho year of £153 18s Bd, including a balaijce of £38 8s 2d carried over. The expenditure rcaehod £101 18s 7d, leaving a balance in lmnd of £52 0s Id. Tho property, though written down each year, was worth £687. The election of officc-bearers resulted as follows:—President, Mr S. S. Myers (reelected) ; vice-presidi'.nts—Dr Closs, Messrs J. J. A. motion of thanks was accorded to Mr Davidson, and it was decided with hearty applause that some trophy should Ifo given him to mark the completion of his five yearn' term of ofiioe. On tho motion of Mr Wright it wis decided, by silent! v standing, thlat a lettor of oondolenoe should be sent to tho relatives of Mr S. G. G. Miller, an old member of tho club, whose death has just occurred at Auckland'.
