CHRISTIANS v. MOSLEMS. SERIOUS STATE OF AFFAIRS. Pross Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, August 19. Hostilities between Christians ami Mohammedans have alarmingly increased in Crete. It is reported Jiat some Christian landowners at Candia have been burned alive. The Christians are endeavouring to organise a boycott against the Mohammedans.
