SYDNEY, July 27. • (Received July 28, at 1.5 a.m.) In the Assembly to-day the Treasurer, in asking for supply totalling £5,315,00), till the end of November, when the new Parliament is expected to meet, said the year had been extraordinarily prosperous. Tt had euded with a surplus" of £981',C00. The railway revenue was £375,000 in excess of that for the previous year.
